How much does boat insurance cost?

Can I insure other operators?
Yes, we can add other frequent operators to the policy. Please ensure all operators have their pleasure craft operators card or equivalent.
Will insurance cover me if my boat sinks?
In most cases, the insurance will pay to recover your boat in order to meet government and environmental requirements and to prevent further liability. If your boat is “written off” your policy will pay based on the limits and conditions shown on the policy.
Is boat insurance required?
Legally speaking, No, boat insurance is not required, but it's highly recommended. Even if your boat is not worth much, having legal liability can protect you against liability from property damage or injury while operating your boat. Most marinas also require all owners to carry insurance.
